Job Summary:
The Materials Management Team arranges soil testing and classification of waste, sources suppliers, and negotiates rates for all types of land removal, from clean to contaminated soils, and provides supplies of all types of materials, from aggregate and topsoil to ready mixed concrete and tarmac. This will be a great opportunity for somebody who wants to develop their career with Ecofficiency and become a specialist.
Working alongside your colleagues, you will take responsibility for the provision of services within a geographical area, building relationships with your suppliers and colleagues to ensure products and services are procured accurately, at competitive market rates, and client satisfaction is maximised.
Typical tasks and responsibilities:
* Procure waste management solutions and site services, securing several quotes to ensure we buy competitively.
* Ensure that all suppliers conform to industry standards and services are delivered within SLA’s.
* Generate sales quotations, follow up with a call, and negotiate rates where required to convert to order.
* Assist in tender compilation, working with the sales teams to provide suitable options which protect margin and provide client satisfaction.
* Establish effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
* Record, update and maintain customer data and customer interaction.

* A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. In the initial weeks, you will need to travel to our Telford office for training and to meet the team.
Additional job information:
* This is a full-time role, working 42.5 hours per week.
* You must live within a commutable distance of our Doncaster office (DN9 3GA) to work on-site full-time.
* Fixed-term contract (6 months) to provide coverage for an internal transition.
