Job summary We are looking for a positive and forward-thinking Practice Nurse who would like to join our friendly and supportive team, based on the outskirts of Chester. The ideal candidate will have 3 years' experience of primary care nursing and will have a knowledge of diabetes management. Prescribing is preferred but not essential. This a part-time post (24-28 hours per week) Main duties of the job Main duties will include: Chronic disease management Cytology Wound care Contraception Hypertension management Child and adult immunisations Management of infection control CQC compliance checks About us We are a small and friendly GP surgery, based on the outskirts of Chester city centre. We provide care for 8,000 patients and are led by 4 supportive GP partners. Our practice team also includes 2 salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, 1 additional Practice Nurse, 3 HCAs, physiotherapist, dietitian, child and adult mental health practitioners, care co-ordinator, and a large administration team.
