Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management of subscriptions and claims, working across various systems and with multiple departments to ensure money is correctly reflected in our member’s policies. This is a 24-month fixed term contract.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our Tunbridge Wells office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. What you’ll be doing:
Provide prompt, accurate technical support and guidance to colleagues to ensure accurate information is given to customers.
Supply documentation for reviews of subscriptions, claims, and treasury controls. Regularly update documents to reflect processes and verify controls are effective.
Maintain team mailboxes ensuring complex queries are investigated fully.
Ensure money received or paid is reflected accurately against the customer’s policy.
Maintain daily controls for subscriptions and claims, escalating any urgent issues to IT teams and senior managers where appropriate.
Deliver month end requirements including all postings and reconciliations.
Support wider Financial Operations teams to ensure quick resolution of outstanding issues for daily transactions and reconciliations.
Support the business on key initiatives ensuring adequate UAT (user acceptance testing) is completed and any issues escalated to the project team or manager.

What you’ll bring:
Relevant experience in an operational role or customer service environment, preferably within an operational finance or insurance sector – essential.
Advanced level of MS Excel.
Demonstrable numeracy or bookkeeping skills.
Telephone skills – you’ll be speaking to colleagues daily.
Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Proactive with customer focus.
Continuous improvement.
