You will be a self-starter happy to work with people at all levels to deliver the outcomes required for the business to be successful Main Duties: On site support working in a classified environment Onsite project task support – “ Moves, Adds, Changes ” cabling and install ation A udio V isual / Meeting / Conference support Enhancing the s ervice desk and improving technical know-how, development of knowledgebase articles and documentation, d riving a “shift-left” mindset and capability Desktop imaging and deployment Incident, Problem and Change Management Delivery of Requests for Service IT Asset Management 1 st / 2 nd Line Application support 1 st / 2 nd Line Infrastructure support Deskside support and supplementing the s ervice desk where needed Essential Knowledge / Skills : As the “shop front” to the department the successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills Ability to listen, influence, negotiate, build rapport, and credibility with colleagues Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to diffuse and resolve c onflict with good problem-solving techniques to achieve win / win outcomes Ability to focus on business value results, rather than solutions Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk, issues and non compliance Ability to Travel (UK) and work with minimal supervisio n Existing Security Clearance (SC) or ability to become security cleared Full Driving license Desirable: ITIL Foundation and relevant technical qualification(s) Good practical experience with enterprise technologies such as Active D irectory, SCOM, SCEP, SCCM, Citrix, CompTIA etc Practical experience of IT operation, project delivery and troubleshooting across user devices, servers and networking.
