Our client based in Harrogate is looking to recruit a full-time Sales Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will drive and support sales through good customer service and communication, focusing on contacting potential clients submitted by referrals and website enquiries to generate business efficiently while providing administration support to the company. Working closely within the administration team, you will ensure the smooth running of the office from the initial client contact, quoting, report typing, and diary management for the surveyors.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage incoming sales leads, referrals, and new business opportunities from trusted partners, including engagement with clients to quote and advise on the services the business provides.
2. Entry and maintain database system with client confidential data.
3. Complete lead tracking systems - analysing and recording sources of business and the status/outcome of quotes where possible.
4. Proactively follow up quotations within a timely and structured manner.
5. Dealing with multiple enquiries at a time and general administrative multitasking.
6. Ensure positive relationships with trusted partners, clients, and colleagues.
7. Assist in the efficient working of all directors and be flexible to their dynamic needs.
8. General administrative tasks, including but not limited to answering calls, emails, diary management, updating finance spreadsheets, report typing, and office organisational duties.
Experience required:
1. Strong IT and typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
2. Able to complete tasks and implement process improvements.
3. Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
4. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
5. Professional approach.
6. Reliability.
7. Ability to work on own initiative.

Salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with a 5pm finish on Fridays.
