We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Receptionist/Administrator to support our Edinburgh Office. Due to the nature of the role this is a fully office based role.
What does the role involve?
You will support the business by answering and transferring telephone calls in a professional manner providing a seamless call service for the Group. You will be responsible for the general supervision of the office reception areas and meeting rooms, greeting visitors, organising refreshments and catering requirements, tidying meeting rooms and replenishing office supplies. You will also be required to collaborate with the Senior Administrator, based at our Edinburgh office as well as the wider admin team.
You will be part of our National Admin Team and will assist with general administrative tasks including:
Monitoring the general mailboxes.
Booking travel and accommodation.
Document production, including printing, scanning and binding.
Arranging couriers and handling incoming and outgoing post.
Preparing documents for archive.
Ordering stationery.
Ordering PPE.
Carrying out new starter inductions.
Booking CSCS tests and processing applications.
Assisting with managing the office events bookings.
Assisting with H&S Rep duties.
Office fire warden (training to be provided)
Interaction with the facilities team if changes are taking place in the office.
Any other duties and tasks as required
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A good level of competency of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook and Excel.
Proven experience working in a similar role.
