Are you a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Manager looking to join a dynamic main contractor? My client specialise in refurbishment and facades, including cladding projects, delivering high-quality solutions across London and West Sussex.
Role Overview:
As the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, maintaining high safety standards, and developing a strong health and safety culture across our sites and office operations. You’ll work closely with project teams to identify risks, implement policies, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage health and safety across multiple sites and office locations.
* Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures.
* Provide training and guidance to site staff and management teams.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Keep up-to-date with legislation and industry best practices, ensuring the business remains compliant.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager role, ideally within refurbishment, facades, or cladding projects.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of construction health and safety regulations, particularly CDM regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams at all levels.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving a safety-first culture.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites in London and West Sussex.
