Applicants must have experience of the following:
1. As a Senior level, candidates are required to have a minimum of 10 years experience working in a similar role.
2. Nuclear industry experience or experience in a relevant field.
3. ONC/HNC/HND in related engineering or accounting discipline or a degree qualification.
4. Appropriate experience in an engineering and/or construction company environment dealing with the financial, cost and contract control of engineering design, procurement of materials, equipment and services, manufacture, delivery and site implementation and construction.
5. Maintenance of complete and accurate reporting, on a routine basis, of cost control data on a specific project.
6. To liaise with all project control staff to ensure effective and efficient running of the Project Control Group.

As a Senior Cost Engineer, you will be required to provide the project with complete and accurate cost control services, in association with the Project Manager/Project Control Manager prepare a cost control strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Proactively forecast, trend and analyse software, hardware and construction cost using EVA techniques and all other available data.
2. Identify cost variances as early as possible and report issues to the Project Manager/Project Control Manager and develop mitigation strategies.
3. Recognise the impact risks & opportunities will have on the Estimate At Completion.
4. Maintain communications and dialogue with other Project Control personnel (planners, document controllers, estimators) to help ensure excellence in delivery of Project Control function.
5. Issue project cost reports in accordance with the requirements of the Principal Cost Controller / Project Manager,/ Project Control Manager, Project Execution Plan and the Business Operating Procedures (Including Project Financial Statement, Procurement Cost Report, and cost flows).
6. As required by the Project Manager/Project Control Manager, attend internal and external project progress reviews.
