Requirements
1. Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent qualifications will also be considered. This educational foundation will provide you with the essential technical knowledge required for the role.
2. Professional Accreditation: Ideally, you will hold Chartered Engineer status or be actively working towards submission with a recognized institution such as CIBSE or IMechE. This commitment to professional development reflects your dedication to maintaining high standards in engineering practice.
3. Consultancy and Contracting Experience: You should possess prior experience in consultancy or contracting roles, specifically in areas such as Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Design and Specification, Surveying and Reporting, and Project Management. This experience will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and its demands.
4. Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Experience working within a multidisciplinary environment is essential. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both internal teams and external clients.
