Do you have a background in data analytics or reporting and take an interest in sustainability? This could be just the position you're looking for. I've partnered with this business that works globally as a technology, creative, and sustainability consultancy. We're looking for a data analyst with a couple of years' experience, someone who is great with numbers, data, and processes to focus on end-to-end data capture, reporting, and analytics that will ultimately drive measurement of sustainability performance and ESG insights for this business and their multitude of globally recognized clients.
What you'll do in the role:
1. Drive consistency in data capture, process, measurement, and deployment of sustainability and ESG dashboards.
2. Review sustainability activity and prepare headline insights for clients.
3. Support initiatives such as carbon calculation and reporting, supply chain diversity, logistics emissions, traceability, and trends analysis.
4. Confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders to offer advice and shape sustainability-focused data and analytics solutions.
5. Support on improving existing reporting processes, stripping out inefficiencies, and propose improved, automated ways of working.
6. Design, develop, deliver, and maintain best-in-class reports and dashboards.
7. Analysis, validation, and cleansing of data sets.
Skills we're looking for:
1. Excellent analytics skills and interpretation/understanding of data and reporting.
2. Experience in designing and implementing reporting solutions.
3. Knowledge and ability to extract and manipulate data from varied systems.
4. Experience of data cleansing, analysis, and reconciliation.
5. Experience of working closely with teams to deliver project outputs on time.
6. Strong communicator at all business levels.
7. Able to present complex data in an easy-to-understand manner.
8. Strong user of Microsoft Excel and some understanding of PowerBI for dashboard development would be ideal, but not essential.
9. Experience of working in a sustainability-focused role (ideal but not essential).
