Finance Director UK & Ireland
Location: London with Hybrid Office / Home Working

Role Overview:
As the Finance Director for the UK & Ireland, you will be a vital member of the Leadership Team, providing comprehensive financial support with a focus on business partnership. This role involves driving empowerment and accountability through coaching, feedback, and collaboration. Your contributions will be crucial in optimising results through efficient planning, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities Overview:
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
* Lead the annual budget and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.
* Partner with the General Manager and local Leadership Team to foster a high-performing culture.
* Support and drive strategic implementation and ensure budget adherence.
* Analyse commercial operations to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
* Maintain close cooperation with Global HQ and deliver timely financial reporting.
* Implement business risk management strategies and internal control processes.
* Prepare annual financial accounts in accordance with UK accounting rules and IFRS.
* Lead and develop a team, including the Business Controller and National Commercial Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified in Finance and Accounting (ACA or CIMA) with a focus on international accounting, business valuation, controlling, and finance. A degree in economics or business is advantageous.
* Extensive experience in a similar role within an international environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector.
* Advanced knowledge of IFRS and UK accounting rules.
The position requires someone with a very proactive and entrepreneurial mentality. You will work in a collaborative manner across the organisation in a multinational matrix environment.
