How you’ll play your part
We’re looking for a creative and innovative leader who excels at inspiring and motivating teams. You’ll bring a strong background in IT consulting and an in-depth understanding of business processes and strategy. You’re proven experience in developing both IT strategies and comprehensive business plans, will ensure alignment between technology initiatives and overall business goals.
You possess a solid understanding of key automation technology trends, including advancements in AI and their practical applications, which enables you to drive innovative solutions within the organisation. Additionally, you are skilled in Agile project management methodologies, allowing you to lead projects efficiently and adaptively, ensuring swift and effective delivery in fast-paced environments.
You are a strategic thinker with a strong passion for cross-functional collaboration, adept at working closely with diverse stakeholders across the business. Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling you to present ideas, strategies, and value propositions clearly and persuasively to internal teams. With proven negotiation expertise, you bring a successful track record in navigating complex negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
In this role, you’ll establish and manage the Applications Management and Support model, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes for software environments. You’ll manage and escalate operations and support for Local, Regional, and Central applications to ensure high availability and robust solutions. You will oversee the provision, integration, and automation of solutions, including local application changes and maintenance for MBUK legacy systems. Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with both Mercedes-Benz and external IT providers is essential to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement in Service Operations and Automation/AI to ensure stable operations and ongoing optimisation.
