The Sales Manager for Partnerships is responsible for leading the sales, marketing, and business development activities related to our B2B side of the business. You will spearhead strategies to enhance product visibility, generate sales leads, and cultivate meaningful partnerships. This role involves creating and executing strategies to increase product visibility, generating sales leads, managing our relationships with the F1 Teams and their partners solidifying Memento Exclusives' status as a trusted leader in sports licencing and memorabilia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for driving B2B sales across F1 predominantly - including show cars, simulators and gifting.
* Develop and lead the sales strategy for growing this area of the business in partnership with the commercial team.
* Collaborate with the creative and ecommerce teams to deliver the sales materials required for each team/partner.
* Maximise the marketing support available for Memento from the teams with their partners to deliver commercial success.
* Enhance relationships through effective relationship management, to ensure partnerships are maintained and improved each year.
* Continuous exploration of commercial opportunities with the teams and partners, to leverage and maximise each license.
* Monitor the financial aspects of each license, helping to design products in the context of product cost prices and sales margins and providing analysis and reports.
* Work with the Account Managers and internal Product Team to track product development from initial designs through to final samples and approval, to ensure they meet the needs of the teams/partners in term of order and delivery.
* Track sales performance metrics, delivering reports and insights to senior leadership.
* Leveraging existing and potential relationships to create win-win solutions for both Memento Exclusives and its partners, maximising monetization opportunities.
Skills:
* A highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
* Culturally aware with the ability to work with clients on an international level, considering cultural differences and time zones.
* Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development within sports, licensing, or a related field.
* Awareness of and interest in motorsports with a knowledge or other sports beneficial.
* Strong communication and inter-personal skills to build and maintain relationships.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with senior stakeholders.
* Commercially minded and astute, with a knowledge and interest in creating and implementing sales strategies.
* Self-starter with strong organisational skills and a results-driven mindset.
* Competency in CRM systems and digital tools for lead tracking and sales reporting.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* An understanding of the Formula 1 industry and a genuine interest in sports memorabilia preferred.
* Experience in Logistics coordination and supply chain management is a plus.
