An excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join an exciting international company within the sports industry based in St Albans. The company has the licenses to design, manufacture, and distribute a diverse range of products.
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading, motivating, and training the Operations and Supply Chain team to ensure sales and growth targets are met. The role will require travel within the UK, Europe, and potentially the USA.

Key responsibilities:
1. Effective supervision of the Production, Warehouse, and Shipping Teams.
2. Ensure that these departments are performing effectively in line with Company requirements.
3. Support the Production & Supply Chain Manager in their day-to-day role.
4. Weekly travel to the Third-Party UK Warehouse.
5. Travel to the Third-Party German Warehouse.
6. Evaluate, audit, and develop systems and processes to ensure they are always up to date and as efficient as possible.
7. Ensure the business has the inventory to fulfill demand.
8. Work with factories in the Far East, Europe, and the UK on all PO placement and management.
9. Manage stock levels of finished goods.
10. Oversee the wholesale orders to ensure our customers receive their orders correctly and promptly.
11. Manage purchasing, transport, warehousing, and distribution.
12. Drive communications between Operations, New Product Development, and Sales teams.
13. Analysis of SKU performance and freight costs.
14. Continue to ensure the UK buying function is carried out effectively.
15. Clearly communicate daily/weekly/monthly targets and objectives for each employee within each department and track progress.
16. Support and development of all team members within the Production, Shipping, and Warehouse Teams.
17. Build strong communications, relationships, and working practices with the US team across all operational departments.
18. Ensure the company is fully compliant with any bespoke customer packaging and labeling requirements.
19. Critical path management.
20. Supporting the MD and Management Team to deliver objectives.
21. Build strong relationships with the global IT team and help improve and manage IT processes.
