Due to growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Project Coordinator with excellent communication, attention to detail, organisational and time management skills for our Fire Risk Assessment project.
The ideal candidate demonstrates proactivity in anticipating the needs and expectations of the Site Managers. You will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of the project, ensuring smooth coordination, communication, and administrative assistance.
Main Objectives of the Project Coordinator role:
1. The Project Coordinator will be the first point of contact for everyone contacting the site and supporting them as required.
2. Provide assistance and administrative support to the Site Manager and the rest of the team.
3. Liaise with residents and the site’s team to effectively deliver on commitments.
4. Assist in overseeing the works to ensure they are conducted safely and meet the specified requirements in terms of cost, quality, and timescale.
5. Book appointments and manage project trackers.
6. Help prepare and review budgets.
7. Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
8. Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of the agreement).
9. Carry out site visits and small collection/delivery tasks.
Do you have what it takes?
* Professional and highly organised with strong time-management skills.
* Good typing skills and strong attention to detail.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, PowerPoint & Excel; generally IT-minded.
* Good interpersonal and telephone etiquette manners.
* Ability to work with tight deadlines, adapt to changes in priorities, and work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable:
* An interest in the construction/social housing sectors, with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and legislation.
