Sub Agent – Infrastructure - Ipswich
Location – Ipswich, Suffolk
Purpose of the role:
As a Sub Agent based on our brand new £100m+ major highways project in the Ipswich area, you will assist the Site Agent and Project Manager in order to successfully deliver the works.
We are looking for two Sub Agents to look after the Roadworks and Structures packages respectively so a background in these areas is ideal but general highways or civil engineering experience will be considered.
You will be expected to achieve the required project delivery, in line with the customer’s objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
What you will be doing:
* General Site Management including producing and managing the programme and supervising the successful delivery of it
* Ensuring day to day compliance of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, in line with company procedures and legal obligations
* Ensuring that site diaries and all other records are kept up to date
* Monthly and weekly reporting
* Maintaining key relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors
* Day to day management of a section of works including the supervision & monitoring of the site team & supply chain
* Progress and performance reporting to the Project Manager
* Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are correctly carried out
* Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly inspections are carried out and that all audits and reports are produced
* Ensure that the QA file is produced and maintained
