Purchase Ledger Clerk Newcastle-under-Lyme Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about working in a finance team? We’re looking for a Ledger Clerk to manage and maintain our clients Sales and Purchase Ledgers. You will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the Senior Ledger Clerk and Assistant Accountants. Key Responsibilities: Process and reconcile supplier accounts, invoices, and payments. Raise and monitor sales invoices and liaise with residents and local authorities regarding queries. Handle bank reconciliations, payment processing, and Direct Debit collections. Support month-end reporting and ad hoc finance tasks. Ensure accurate and timely data entry on accounting software. Skills & Experience: Strong communication and organisation skills. A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work autonomously. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. IT literacy and numerical aptitude.
