Lift Engineer – Project Engineer

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 + Car + Benefits

As a Lift Engineer – Project Engineer, you’ll be home based with a focus on lift industry product support and engineering.
Main Duties
1. Manage individual project orders in accordance with internal ISO procedures.
2. Be competent in providing designs compliant with relevant industry standards.
3. Become conversant and competent with the current IT platforms including the CRM and ERP systems.
4. Liaise with internal/external teams with all project related tasks including customer meetings and site surveys.
5. Assist with purchasing and cost analysis of all project materials and fabrication.
6. Work within the company’s procedures at all times.
7. Utilise Solidworks 3D Design to carry out order specific design tasks.
8. Design of industry specific product solutions.
9. Build 3D model libraries of parts and assemblies.
10. Produce 2D fabrication / customer approval / assembly drawings.
11. Create photo realistic Rendered visuals.
Qualities Required
1. Motivated individual with excellent time management and a confident team member able to assist and communicate with staff at all levels.
2. Ability to adapt to changes in the workload and prioritise accordingly.
3. Punctual, reliable and possess good written and mathematical skills.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills; phone and one-to-one interaction.
5. Excellent IT skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
6. Previous experience in the field is not necessary as full training will be given.
7. Minimum Degree qualification or equivalent in a design/engineering discipline.
8. Knowledge of Solidworks 3D/2D CAD software is essential, full training will be provided.
9. Willing to travel throughout the UK if and when required.
10. Full UK driving licence is preferred.
The role will suit individuals currently working as a Lift Engineer – Project Engineer, Senior Lift Engineer, Application Engineer, Lift Engineer, Customer Support, Technical Support Engineer – Lifts, Mechanical Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, London, Coventry or be willing to relocate.
