Defour Partnership is working closely with an award winning National Social Care recruiting for a Training Specialist. (Learning and Development Specialist).
Exciting opportunity to join an innovative and forward thinking Charity and be part of their Learning and Development team.
This role will support the North West Region so you can be based anywhere across the region or surrounding areas.
This important role delivers high quality and engaging training to give their front-line colleagues the skills and knowledge they need to be brilliant in their roles, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people they support and enabling them to lead the best life possible.
Offering a competitive salary of £24,-£26, plus £3k car allowance with the opportunity to work a 4 day week.
Your Day to Day
1. Delivering brilliant training sessions on a range of subjects – from first aid, and safeguarding, to how to administer medication, or positive behavioural support techniques.
2. You’ll work with the regional People team to support the delivery of great learning – either face to face or virtually across the region.
3. Working with their bespoke digital learning platform "Dare to Learn”Running reports and using information to spot trends
4. Forecasting needs and scheduling courses
5. Working with local leaders to ensure their team’s learning needs are met

Flexibility! You can work your full-time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. You can work from home, or from your local regional office – or flex between the two. You will need to be able to travel to their regional head office in Widnes with regional travel as and when required.

6. You are brilliant at communicating – you find it easy to explain things in a way that is easy for others to understand.
7. People might say you tell a great story – you’re brilliant at bringing subjects to life with great anecdotes, making topics relatable to your audience.
8. You pick up systems quickly – it never takes you long to learn a new app, programme, or website.
9. You’ll have extensive on-the-job experience leading and facilitating brilliant training sessions or an SVQ L3 in Health and Social CareTrain the trainer certificate, or recognised assessor award would be beneficial.
10. You’ll have brilliant IT skills
11. You’ll need a full UK driving licence to travel for this role
