Field based with on average 1-2 days a week travel, the rest from home
£38,000-£42,000 plus car allowance £4,800 and benefits

About the role
Our Training and Competency Managers work alongside Regional Managers and L&D consultants as part of a regional distribution team to oversee the capability and development of MAB’s Advisers, from onboarding through to full competency and beyond, ultimately setting them up to succeed. You will build relationships with and support Advisers and firms within your region. We're looking for candidates based in the following areas:
West Midlands - Birmingham
South East - South London/Kent
Manchester
Key Responsibilities
* Provide effective guidance, coaching and training to both Advisers and Approved Persons.
* Building strong, effective relationships with Approved Persons to ensure they are able to drive firm accountability; understanding their responsibilities and managing the requirements.
* Working with firms to develop a holistic approach to training and development, identifying and prioritising the gaps and providing tailored solutions on a both an individual and team basis.
* Considering the wider impact of any risks or development needs identified, ensuring that any concerns raised or solutions offered take into account the wider implications on the team, the business and our policies and processes.
* Engage and collaborate with colleagues across internal teams to deliver excellence.
* Interpreting our regulatory requirements, policies and processes and clearly communicating responsibilities to advisers, making it easy for them to understand and adopt.
* Ensuring all Advisers receive required training and development in line with our T&C schemes.
About You

* Have the technical capability that enables you to input and interpret data from multiple sources and systems.
* Be able to deliver clear, concise guidance for others to follow.
* Have the ability to assess and develop sales skills through effective coaching.
* Have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for your colleagues and Advisers.
* CeMAP qualified is essential (CeRER qualified is desirable)
* Be willing and able to travel.
