We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Fitter to join our client. The ideal candidate for a Mechanical Fitter will have a strong background in mechanical assembly and fitting, with the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications. This role is critical to ensuring that products are assembled to the highest standards and meet all quality requirements. Company Training Job Role and Responsibilities of an Mechanical Fitter Assemble and fit components of machinery according to technical drawings and specifications. Be able to use Overhead Crane Equipment (training will be provided). Inspect parts and components for quality and compliance with design standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on assembly equipment. Ensure all work is completed within project timelines and adheres to safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any assembly issues. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Person Specification of an Mechanical Fitter Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing environment. Apprenticeship trained or time served in a fitting engineering background. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
