Job summary The Adult Trauma and Psychotherapy unit, a unit of the internationally renowned Tavistock Clinic provides a comprehensive and specialist mental health service for adults. We are looking for an Administrator/Receptionist to join our Trauma and Psychotherapy Service. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to support aspects of our clinical work. The post holder will split their time between clinical administration and reception in our Trauma and Psychotherapy service. The suitable candidate is required to provide effective and efficient administration, ensuring a high standard of data quality and service to our service users and clinical teams. The post holder will need to be confident in working with service users at reception as well as managing busy emails systems from clinicians, managers, and internal and external stakeholders. Within this busy and stimulating department the position will require you to have excellent, communication and organisational skills as well as enjoying working in a team setting. Main duties of the job The candidates should be able to work as a member of a functional, task-based team, ensuring robust communication and liaison with your administrative colleagues and with clinical practitioners. This should also include evidence of high-quality skills where attention to detail, strong IT skills and accurate patient data entry skills is essential and demonstrating the ability to use your initiative and prioritise your own workload. Having experience of using Carenotes our electronic patient record is desirable.
