Performance Manager - Elective Care

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services.
As the Performance Manager for Elective Care, you will oversee the management and delivery of elective access and recovery targets.
Main duties of the job
* Full and in-depth knowledge of RTT national and local rules
* Demonstrate leadership across the Trust by working closely with Divisional Teams to ensure RTT validation and patient pathways are managed effectively
* Lead on planning, reporting and monitoring of National elective recovery programmes
* Monitor key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational efficiency
* Provide clear and regular feedback on performance improvement initiatives
* Lead the collation of accurate data for national & regional elective information returns

Education and qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level
* Evidence of recent continuing professional development
* Educated to masters level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level
Experience
* Understanding of current healthcare policy and its implications
* Experience of performance and quality monitoring, data management and reporting
* Experience of building effective cross-functional relationships
Skills and knowledge
* Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions
* Experience developing, managing and motivating teams
* Ability to operate in a value-driven style consistent with public service values
