Production Supervisor Salary: Competitive Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:30am – 17:30pm and Friday 08:00 – 17:00. With a 20-year history, QVIS distribute recognised brands through established routes to market. At QVIS Lighting and Security we are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to join our busy team. The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for leading the production team, supervise and co-ordinate the production activities and operations within the department. Responsibilities Manage builds/projects ensuring they are completed on time Check, wrap and make packing lists for project orders Quality check products before they are packaged Liaise with, and keep customers updated on completion dates Order components when running low Maintain equipment/tools and replace if necessary Work closely with production coordinator and manager to make sure schedules are met and quality control measures are adhered to Check completed products are booked to the system and the correct paperwork has been filled in Build collaborative relationships, and answer any queries raised from internal departments Approve, monitor and update company system for holiday and absence Drive efficiency, and motivation within the team Responsible for housekeeping within the production area Skills & experience Previous experience in a supervisor role would be advantageous Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential Experience in reporting on key production metrics Excellent organisational and leaderships skills Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality Experience with using Microsoft applications Benefits Free Onsite Parking Company Pension Scheme Cycle to work scheme 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays To submit your CV for this exciting opportunity, please press ‘Apply’ now and await further instructions
