£50,000 plus overtime + benefits

We are always looking towards the future and ways to improve our processes and outputs. We rely on our colleagues and teams to identify how this can be done. We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Bishopbriggs site engineering team.
What’s the mission?
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You need to be a qualified and experienced electrician and able to commute daily to our Bishopbriggs site.
You will work a continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, from 05:00am to 05:00pm - days only.

What are the mission-critical skills?
* Excellent electrical engineering skills
* Previous manufacturing experience
* Execute PPM and contribute to systems & process improvements
* PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (Allen Bradley)
* Ability to fault find with industry-standard test equipment
* Team player with attention to detail
* Good understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations
* Ability to analyze maintenance issues for accurate plant condition reports
* Computer literacy and strong communication skills
