Account Manager – Comms Planning Overview of role We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Account Manager to work with us on Müller. T his role will play an integral part on the account, leading and supporting in the delivery of innovative campaigns across all media channels. The successful candidate will work across the entire campaign lifecycle – planning, activation and evaluation – to develop their strategic planning and account management skills. In th is role you will work on interesting and diverse briefs that require multi-channel planning, producing brilliant audience insight and source of growth work to deliver breakthrough campaigns for the FMCG industry. As one of the nation’s favourite dairy brands, and the largest milk supplier and distributor in the UK, Müller is a household name with iconic product ranges from Müller Corner Yogurts to Frijj flavoured milk. In this role you will broaden your planning experience by helping to grow the famous Müller brand and its sub-brands in the Chilled Yogurt & Potted Desserts and Flavoured Milk categories. Reporting of the role This role reports to the Senior Associate Director on Müller. 3 best things about the job The People: You will be part of tight-knit, dedicated team who are very supportive of one another and love what they do Your development: Y our learning and development ambitions are important to us and we will work with you to achieve these The work: You will work as an extension of the clients’ media/ marketing team s to deliver breakthrough work that you can be proud of Measures of success In three months, you would have: Mastered the account fundamentals and ways of working between the different teams involved in planning, activating, and evaluating campaigns Started to bui ld good working relationships with our specialist activation teams across each channel Taken ownership of the annual plan, updating as required and owning the PO trackers ; liaising with the specialist activation teams on any changes Taken ownership of some weekly client status meetings /calls Taken responsibility for competitor reporting, working with junior team members to deliver Taken responsibility for econometrics data reporting, working with our specialist activation teams to deliver Taken responsibility for insight work for new briefs, working with junior team members to deliver, and supported the team across the end-to-end campaign planning process (planning, activation and evaluation) In six months, you would have: Developed a good working relationship with our junior media/ marketing clients Added valuable contributions in the client meetings you own or support in, demonstrating your media knowledge and expertise Developed strong working relationships with our specialist activation teams Owned the end-to-end campaign planning process (planning, activation and evaluation) on small/medium sized briefs in an independent way, with line manager support Responsibilities of the role Build strong working relationships with other EssenceMediacom departments and functions Understand all aspects of how the agency makes money, from finance procedures to additional services. Contribute towards new business work.
