Its York office is based just out of the city centre at Monks Cross Retail Park, so close to the local arterial roads with plenty of shops and amenities nearby, and well-served by public transport. As such, this role will appeal to candidates from across North Yorkshire and large parts of Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Play a key part in the day-to-day management of an allocation of commercial accounts.
2. Develop a deep knowledge of clients’ businesses and the risks they face.
3. Ensure insurance programmes reflect clients' appetite for risk and suggest innovative ways to mitigate any coverage gaps.
4. Work closely with Account Executives and Directors to handle mid-term amendments, general enquiries, renewals, and policy administration.
Qualifications:
1. Some commercial insurance knowledge and understanding of common covers is required.
2. Exposure to complex risks is advantageous.
3. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
4. Ability to build a professional rapport with clients from various sectors.
5. Diligent, detail-oriented, well-organised, and possess excellent task-management skills.
This is a hybrid-working position, where you will be welcome to work remotely several days per week, if desired.
