Main Duties of the Job
We provide a full range of diagnostic and treatment services and have a national reputation for innovative developments in healthcare, particularly in 'patient-focused' care, day surgery and maternity services. We are currently developing our main outpatient area with the aim of improving patient and staff experience.
We are looking for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical activities carried out in the department. The role will hold key responsibility for shift management and ensuring appropriate staff and skill mix across the ward on a daily basis to ensure excellent delivery of patient care. The post holder will act as a role model for junior members of the team in the delivery of high standards of nursing care. The post holder will be a bleep holder and be expected to deal with complaints and queries from staff, patients and relatives. The post holder will also be expected to deputise for the supervisory ward Sister/Charge Nurse during periods of absence.

Salary: £42,939 to £50,697 a year pro rata incl of HCAS (15%)
