Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. What it's like to work here Reporting to Senior Programming and Partnerships Officer, you’ll be part of the Children and Young People's team based at Mount Stewart but working across the East Down Property Portfolio. The Children and Young People team use the nature, beauty and history of our stunning portfolio to create experiences which will excite and inspire children and young people. This vibrant team work outdoors delivering forest school and environmental programmes to young people up to 25 years, helping them to discover and enjoy the wonders of the natural world in East Down. Mount Stewart also is home to a stunning mansion house which provides the setting for our historic programmes which are enjoyed by thousands of primary school children each year. These are a suite of costumed programmes which tell the stories of the Londonderry family throughout history. This is a varied, practical and rewarding role, full of excitement for those who love to learn new things and enjoy sharing them with children and young people. What you'll be doing Day to day, you will provide high quality experiences to groups of children and young people. No two days are the same You could be lighting fires and building dens on a Monday and dressed up in Victorian costume talking about the life in the 1800’s the next day. Your role is to make sure our children and young people have the best time possible in a safe environment, leaving the property happy and enthused by their visit.
