About the role We are looking for an experienced Social Strategist. Working in a small team, you will have experience in auditing, ideating, concepting and creating content for social channels with a performance mindset. You will also have strong experience in data-analysis and auditing to create strategies that meet the needs of our clients and their audiences. The role will be primarily dedicated to a project with a food solution company in the UK, working across a portfolio of brands on strategy and insights on multiple social channels. This role will be expected to work closely with the client on understanding their brand priorities and matching those to landscape and audience insights to create playbooks and strategies to set the social accounts up for success. However, we would expect this role to also contribute to the social media accounts across the agency and work with the team to help advise and guide a number of different client and internal projects. What you’ll do Conduct thorough research to inform the social offering of our clients, including but not limited to desk research, data insights and analysis, native analysis and social listening, alongside a thorough awareness of platform specific best practice, and latest developments in social. Create and inform the user journeys of our projects across social media platforms and also to web. Use both creative and data to inform the content types, formats and platforms that will be most suitable for driving performance, our client’s needs and their audiences. Working on influencer and creator-based strategies and managing influencer and creator campaigns ongoing when required. Collaborate with our internal teams to deliver on the strategic needs of new and existing clients. To work with our other content strategists and other agency teams to being in-depth social insights into our cross-platform strategies. To work with our search and insights teams to provide in-depth social insights to help inform our search recommendations. Create and inform social content publishing workflows for our clients. Set guidelines for the tone, style, and voice of all social content, as well as create governance documents for clients where appropriate, including playbooks. Conduct thorough social audits and touchpoint analyses. Overseeing the planning, production and reporting on social publishing as required, Mentoring social team members on best practice and innovation and working across the agency to keep Greenpark abreast of changes in the social landscape About you Minimum 5 years in social strategy with a broad understanding of consumer habits, channels and touchpoints. Experience in food and drink is preferred, and the candidate will ideally have experience across a number of categories and industries, including lifestyle, health and wellness, beauty and consumer goods A deep understanding of channel purpose, appropriate content formats and best practices to meet audience and channel needs. Comfortable conducting consumer research (whether desk research, or through insights tools) A sound understanding of social platforms and their role in publishing. A sound understanding of social reporting and analytics and how to interpret data to lead strategies. Experience in both organic and paid media and the ability to align paid and organic strategies across social and web. Experience concepting and creating social content. Experience creating user journeys informed by consumer and SEO insights. Experience in connecting social projects to web and working holistically across digital platforms. Experience in influencer analysis, recruitment and management. Experience in working with other agencies to deliver holistic social strategies.
