Position Details Role : EYFS Teaching Assistant Location : Lancaster Contract : Full-time (term time) Start Date : Immediate or flexible for the right candidate Salary : £12.90 - £13.50 per hour The Ideal Candidate We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who: Holds a recognized qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE, or equivalent). Has experience working with young children, ideally in a school or nursery setting. Demonstrates a caring and nurturing attitude to support the emotional and educational needs of every child. Is knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and its application in a classroom environment. Can work collaboratively with teaching staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the EYFS curriculum. Provide one-on-one or small group support to children who need additional assistance. Foster a positive and safe learning atmosphere. Contribute to observations and assessments to track student progress. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
