Role
As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the administration across the business. You'll support different departments as needed, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include handling customer queries, maintaining records, and coordinating various operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering:
1. Schedule and prioritise engineering work
2. Maintain support contract call out pages
3. Coordinate professional training and qualifications
4. Manage security clearance processes
5. Update engineering data and act as Information Manager
6. Ensure safety equipment compliance
7. Report on T-sheets and SO for efficiency monitoring
8. Coordinate office returns and act as customer contact for Engineering
Service:
9. Manage service/repair equipment bookings
10. Assist with the service mailbox
11. Follow up on service quotes and manufacturer service lines
12. Create sales orders and update management reports
Hire:
13. Pick and quality check hire equipment
14. Manage hire fleet records and stock levels
15. Book courier collections and assist the warehouse team
Sales & Operations:
16. Create sales orders and maintain stock records
17. Assist with daily operational tasks
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications:
18. A-levels or higher in administrative or business management subjects or equivalent experience
19. Ability to pass CRB and Disclosure Scotland checks
Desirable Qualifications:
20. Project/portfolio management, IT/data management, or H&S qualifications
Experience:
21. Office management and administrative experience
22. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
