However, students may be working at primary or lower secondary level due to the impact of childhood trauma and adverse experiences. You will: Deliver a creative, adaptive curriculum designed to inspire and engage students with SEMH needs Provide practical, hands-on learning experiences that build confidence and overcome barriers to learning Set high expectations while supporting students to achieve both academically and personally Collaborate with a dedicated team to foster a safe, trusting and inclusive environment About you: The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A proactive and compassionate approach, understanding that behaviour is a form of communication Experience or interest in teaching students with SEMH or additional barriers to learning Strong classroom management skills and the abilities to deliver practical, confidence-building A commitment to excellence, teamwork and putting students’ needs first Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
