Are you an experienced customer service, receptionist or front of house professional? If so, Bidwells Cambridge HQ is looking for an exceptional Front of House Assistant to join the team.
As the Front of House Assistant, you will work independently to fulfill your daily responsibilities, empowered to excel in your role. Serving as the first point of contact at Bidwells, the successful candidate must present a professional and approachable image, communicate clearly and courteously with a friendly manner! Bidwells reputation is based on quality and we want to showcase that in our front of house services - first impressions count!
This role supports our entire business, not just Cambridge, with telephone calls, email queries and much more.
What you'll be doing:
1. Providing front-of-house services - meeting and greeting clients and staff from other offices.
2. Providing a telephony service to the Cambridge offices – taking messages and transferring calls.
3. Ensuring the in-house services are provided to a high standard at all times; making sure any enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
4. Servicing meeting rooms ensuring refreshments are topped up and the space is looking presentable at all times.
5. General service-related admin tasks, including management of access cards for staff and visitors.
6. Supporting Facilities colleagues, with ad-hoc duties e.g. room services for Cambridge site including opening, sorting and delivering post around the site.
7. Reserving parking spaces for interviewees and visitors.
About you:
1. A friendly personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a 'can do’ attitude.
2. A team player - someone who will enjoy working as part of a solid team and has strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Excellent attention to detail along with a presentable and professional appearance.
4. A creative approach to resolving problems.
5. Proactive with a flexible attitude.
6. Happy to embrace covering other duties within the wider facilities team, when required to do so.
7. Front of house experience - desirable.
