Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on financial products, including pensions, investments, insurance, and tax strategies.
Research financial products and services, such as pensions, investments, and protection plans, to support recommendations.
Attend training sessions and workshops to build knowledge of financial products, planning strategies, and regulatory requirements.
Analyse client portfolios, identifying areas for improvement or opportunities for growth.
Prepare detailed financial plans and recommendations tailored to client needs.
Ensure all work adheres to FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
Draft suitability reports and investment proposals based on advisor instructions.
Ensure all financial plans and recommendations meet FCA regulatory requirements.
Attending client meetings to gather and review information, including fact-finding and risk profiling.
Provide clients with updates on their portfolios or plans as required.
Requirements
Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) or working towards it.
Previous experience in a paraplanning, financial planning, or advisory support role.
Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
Experience using Microsoft, Aviva and IO
Chartered Financial Planner designation or progression towards it.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and FCA guidelines.
Ability to assess complex financial information and provide clear solutions.
