We are looking for a passionate Therapy Services Co-ordinator, to join our organisation in Ipswich for a 1 year fixed term contract! You will be working five days a week, 35 hours per week.

About the role:
As a Therapy Services Co-ordinator, you will be a pivotal force in our dedicated team, guiding sessional therapists in delivering exceptional recovery services to survivors of sexual violence. Your role encompasses overseeing referral processes, conducting assessments, and ensuring the smooth delivery f our therapeutic services. You will inspire and motivate your team, collaborate with external stakeholders, and uphold SiT’s core values in every interaction. Your commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed care will lead the way in empowering survivors on their journeys of healing. The role will be split across three main functions – conducting initial assessments and managing allocations, supporting therapists with operational processes and liaising with external stakeholders.
This will be an office-based role for 3 months and hybrid working will be reviewed after this period.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Services & Support
Ensure high-quality service delivery in line with contractual obligations and established outcome frameworks.
Conduct thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to identify client needs and risks.
Directly oversee the allocation process of clients to therapists and maintain oversight of caseload management.
Conduct inductions and training for new team members, ensuring integration into the SiT ethos.
Be the primary point of support for therapists, guiding them through challenges and facilitating effective service delivery.
Regularly report on service delivery metrics and trends to inform strategic planning.
Impact & Influence
Build and nurture strong relationships with partner agencies, ensuring collaborative care for survivors.
Engage in community outreach, raising awareness and advocating for survivors’ rights and services.
Represent SiT in stakeholder meetings and public forums, promoting our mission and impact.
Advance & Enhance
Uphold safeguarding protocols and provide guidance on maintaining a safe environment for vulnerable individuals.
Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of learning.
Maintain accurate records and uphold the confidentiality of client interactions.
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify trends and improve service delivery.
About you:
As our Therapy Services Co-ordinator you will be a passionate and empathetic leader with a background in social work, psychology, or counselling. You will need to have a strong background of working with vulnerable people, experience of service delivery and the ability to problem-solve effectively. You understand the complexities of trauma and have experience working within safeguarding protocols. With strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to promoting inclusivity, you excel in building relationships and driving positive outcomes for both your team and the clients we serve. Your ability to remain organised, manage multiple responsibilities, and work collaboratively will set you apart in this dynamic role. Essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field (Master’s preferred), a demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care, experience working with survivors of sexual violence or trauma in a supportive role, a proven ability to manage service delivery within contractual frameworks, and strong communication skills with a trauma-informed approach. This role is ideal for individuals who are working in the front lines and are looking to move into a management role.
