We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our well-established team in the flooring sector. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of our business, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position requires experience in the flooring industry and a strong background in customer service and team supervision.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Managing Director in overseeing daily operations within our showroom and warehouse, including planning and estimating jobs.
* Supervise staff in a positive and productive work atmosphere.
* Support other staff members in their duties when required.
* Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Address customer inquiries, face to face and over the phone, and address their concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
Experience
* Previous experience in the flooring industry is essential.
* Supervisory skills with experience in managing teams effectively is an advantage.
* Knowledge of flooring products and installation practices is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing customer experiences.
