Tramways is a residential care home in the Brislington area of Bristol, providing a recovery service for fourteen people with complex mental health needs. The people we support are encouraged to maintain their skills and independence and are involved in decision-making in the home as much as possible.
We are keen to recruit a motivated, innovative and passionate person to help make a significant difference to the lives of the people we support by working with them to gain or recapture skills and experiences in order for them to be able to live the fulfilled life they choose.
Staff at Tramways offer one-to-one support to each person and each resident has their own person-centred care plan.
The successful support worker will have a willingness to learn and develop new skills to enhance the lives of the people we support and provide you with job satisfaction. You will enjoy working with people, be a team player and have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, service users and a range of stakeholders.
A willingness to work flexibly is essential, as shifts will include Waking Nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the service. Shift times are 21:00-07:30.
