Job summary There is an opportunity at our Bexhill Hospital for a part time (24 hours per week) Appointments Clerk. The department provides a fast and responsive outpatient, appointment booking service. Main duties of the job The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, and an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, working to strict deadlines. The hours of the service operate between 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday, in shifts of, 08:00-16:00, 09:00 -17:00 and 10:00-18:00, with weekend work 9am - 12 noon on a rota basis. Hours/shifts will be discussed at interview.
