ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with prior experience supporting pupils of a primary age with SEN in the central Walsall area to start January 2025.
The role
This role will include:
Supporting pupils with Special educational needs in their designated school support unit.
Starting as a long-term supply staff but with the potential for the new academic year to become a permanent member of staff for the right fits.
Full time with hours from 08:30-15:30.

This will be located at a two-form entry school in the central Walsall area.
Requirements
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Have had prior experience working effectively with a student with additional needs.
Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and to provide them the best chance of developing.
Be able to commit to full-time work.
Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.
Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
