The role
As a Production Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to work on a programme delivering a new class of submarine.
Day to day, you’ll take responsibility of the delivery of several pieces of equipment and will therefore have influence over our daily workings. Following and implementing best practices within scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement whilst working with stakeholders from across the team and wider business, to help drive delivery momentum and achieve the project goals.
This role is full-time, 37-hours per week and will be based onsite at Ashton House however, one day per week can be worked from home.
Essential experience of the Production Project Manager:
1. Manufacturing / production / engineering mindset
2. Excellent computer literacy
3. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and with external bodies.
4. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with project management software tools
