As a Senior Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the risk management team, collaborating closely with senior leadership, project delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure the effective identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks across high-impact projects and programs. This is a leadership role that requires not only technical expertise but also strategic oversight to drive successful risk management practices that align with client goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, lead, and continuously improve risk management frameworks, ensuring they are tailored to meet specific client needs and aligned with industry standards.
* Lead complex risk identification and analysis workshops with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to uncover and evaluate potential risks across projects and programs.
* Oversee the creation, maintenance, and critical review of risk registers and associated documentation, ensuring data accuracy and robustness.
* Provide strategic guidance to project teams, promoting risk mitigation actions and ensuring timely implementation across programs.
* Act as a subject matter expert in Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), using techniques such as Monte Carlo simulations to assess cost and schedule impacts, and offer insights on residual risk exposure.
* Prepare and present high-level risk reports and analysis to executive teams and clients, utilizing tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Power BI to support decision-making.
* Collaborate with project controls teams to ensure alignment of project data and risk management processes, driving consistency and accuracy across reporting functions.
* Engage with supply chain partners to understand and assess risks they introduce, ensuring integrated risk management across the entire project lifecycle.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior risk managers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of proactive risk management.

* Commitment to driving continuous improvement in risk management processes and delivering value to clients through innovative risk mitigation approaches.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in risk management across large-scale projects or programs, with a proven ability to manage risks at a senior level.
* Expertise in at least one risk management tool and a deep understanding of Quantitative Risk Assessment techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations.
* Demonstrated experience in integrating risk management with other project controls disciplines such as scheduling, cost control, and change management.
* Professional risk management qualifications such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2, Management of Risk (MoR), or similar are highly desirable.
* Experience with NEC contracts and familiarity with their risk-related provisions is an advantage.
