Job Summary:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analytics Assistant who will support the Supply Chain team by assisting in reporting, and optimising supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in gathering, analysing, and reporting supply chain data related to inventory, customs, warehouse operations, and overseas shipping.
* Support the coordination of customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely clearance.
* Help manage administrative tasks related to parts/warehouse inventory, including maintaining records and ensuring proper documentation for shipments and receipts.
* Assist in tracking and optimising overseas shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and handling any issues or delays in the process.
* Provide analytical support to the supply chain team by identifying trends and generating insights to improve operational efficiency.
* Prepare basic reports on supply chain metrics such as shipping timelines, inventory levels, and customs clearance times.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and flow of supply chain operations.
* Assist in maintaining and updating data in supply chain management systems.
Ideal Candidate:
This is an entry-level role, and while the following experience and skills are preferred, they are not essential. Candidates with experience in these areas will be considered ideal, but we are open to individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the field.
* Experience in Customs : Knowledge of customs processes, documentation, and regulations.
* Warehouse Experience : Practical experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics is preferred.
* Administrative Skills : Experience in administrative tasks for parts and warehouse operations, including record-keeping and document handling.
* Overseas Shipping : Understanding of international shipping practices, including documentation and coordination of shipments.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
