The role of Financial Planning & Systems Accountant provides central finance and system support across all the G’s Fresh pillars. This role will focus on data and systems, driving consistency and standardisation in reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on the use of Cognos to drive consistency and standardisation into product KPIs for all G’s Fresh pillars.
* Support the pillar teams in the development of Grower Returns outputs from Cognos, building consistency in internal reporting for Fresh Management Teams and tailoring outputs for the Grower Base.
* Support pillar teams with the Grower Returns issue resolution process, including fixing and controlling scanning traceability errors and maintaining JDE master data to ensure accuracy.
* Support reconciliation between returns data and the trial balance and develop COGNOS reporting to monitor.
* Assist in the implementation of automated grower returns posting into JDE financials.
* Coordinate and support sales and profit forecasting across all pillars.
* Coordinate and support budget preparation.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of budgets/forecasts in COGNOS supporting all pillars.
* Assist with group reporting requirements and implement new reporting timetables, including developments planned in COGNOS.
* Support in the completion of growers returns documentation and process mapping.
* Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Experienced accountant with a bias towards data and systems.
* Problem-solving mindset.
* Experience with big reporting systems such as COGNOS or similar and familiarity with Data Warehouses.
* Proficient in Excel.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
