Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with architects and other team members to develop detailed technical drawings and specifications.
2. Utilise CAD software and other tools to create accurate architectural plans, elevations, and sections.
3. Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather essential data for project planning and implementation.
4. Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards throughout the design process.
5. Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building regulation submissions.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project coordination and approvals.
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and other relevant software applications.
2. Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
3. Proven experience working in a similar role within the architectural industry.
4. Strong technical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policies.
