Working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools can be an excellent opportunity for university students to gain valuable experience in the education sector whilst studying. As a Cover Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
1. Supervising students in the classroom, ensuring they stay on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
2. Delivering pre-prepared lessons and managing the classroom environment.
3. Assisting students with any questions or difficulties they have with the assigned work.

If you have no experience of working in schools, we can provide training to help you become an effective Cover Supervisor and offer ongoing support.
Requirements:
1. Must be studying or have completed a University Degree.
2. Ideally have experience working with young people (scouts leader, coaching, etc).
3. Have a desire to work with young people.
