The salary for this role is £13.75 per hour, reflecting the competitive market rate for a Sous Chef in Peterborough.
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef to take a next step in their culinary career and be part of a business that values creativity, collaboration, and teamwork. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
* Managing your station to ensure efficient production and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and supplies.
* Collaborating with the head chef to develop new recipes and menus.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role.
* Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
* Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
