Applications are invited for this vacancy in the Children and Young People's Services Division based in Llandudno Hospital, Llandudno. The postholder will provide comprehensive reception, clerical and typing support for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), demonstrating a courteous, professional and sensitive manner at all times. The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, good communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient, organised and able to work flexibly. A good telephone manner and communication skills are essential. A knowledge of the hospital's Patient Administration System is desirable, although training will be given.
The post-holder will hold RSA Level 2 or equivalent. The postholder will be required to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner at all times. By the nature of the duties, the Receptionist/Appointment Clerk/Typist post requires maintaining strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, relatives and visitors with courtesy and discretion at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential.
