Youll be asked to re-plasterer patches and full walls and plastering work after damp course work has been completed You will undertake repairs, maintenance, installation, improvement, alteration or other works as required to our customers homes (whether occupied or void) and to our schemes, estates and other property assets as required as a part of the In-House Repairs Service, Youll be asked to complete mould washing and applying Anti-mould paint to internal walls and ceilings Re-sealing of windows and doors Loft Insulation top-ups for properties with poor/damaged insulation Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures of LHP and the operational and commercial targets set whilst putting the customer first. To complete basic work in several building trades, including (but not limited to) carpentry, joinery, plumbing, bricklaying, roofing, plastering and ground working. Youll communicate on a regular basis with team members, planners and your team leader both verbally, electronically and through our housing management system Youll ensure you make accurate and relevant assessments of your daily activities, so we can keep our customers informed and work Together as a organisation To undertake as necessary works associated with major and minor new construction work, 1st fix, 2nd fix etc. Responsible for maximising output and efficiency and minimising waste. Responsible for ensuring van stock is maintained and used effectively Liaise with planners and other departments to ensure work is carried out within the timeframes given to customers. Youll be expected to learn around the technical causes of damp and mould in properties and how to treat this. What skills, attributes and experience will I need as a Multi-Skilled Plasterer A minimum of 2 years experience in the repairs of domestic properties An awareness of health and safety considerations within a domestic property (i.e. Asbestos, working around customers, working at heights & electrics) The ability to use PDA/iPad and other electronic communication devices The ability to interpret a job description from a handheld device and carry out those tasks in a timely manner The ability to communicate on regular basis with team leaders and planners to ensure work is carried out and completed to the highest possible standard Must have a full valid, clean driving license To Apply, complete the application process by attaching your up-to date CV or a brief list of trades you have experience in, or if its easier a website/ social media page with examples/ recommendations of your work.
