Proposed Interview Date: Monday 17th February 2025 The role As the Learning and Development Specialist (Housing), you will be responsible for the design and delivery of engaging and inspiring commercial training programmes to support individuals and businesses to achieve their full potential at an operational strategic level within the housing sector. Within your curriculum area of housing, you will be responsible for the effective teaching and assessment of both individuals and groups of learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they require to meet their learning outcomes. You will be part of the delivery team for the wider TLF Housing offer acting as the subject matter expert for our commercial CIH programmes. The right fit Up to date knowledge and understanding of housing is essential. Experience of working in the housing sector or related roles is essential. Teaching and / or assessing qualification and / or experience, (or a willingness to study for them). Qualified to Level 4 or above in an area related to housing is desirable (or a willingness to work towards it). Able to develop schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources and to deliver these both face to face and online. Able to manage a case load and to engage, motivate and monitor learners to ensure that targets are met. Able to build effective working relationships with employers and partner organisations. Able to work on a variety of online platforms to keep accurate, up to date records.
